Why I wont make some of the changes my friend suggested
I don't see the need of putting synonyms to the words I think the meaning is all ready clear enough also synonyms can mess people up and get confused with the definitions. It is better this way.
Comments Of my project
My friend said that my overall work was good but would have like to see a more detailed descriptions and also maybe some synonyms. For the putting the words in the sentence he said that he liked the words i put in their but that sometimes instead of putting one word for one word I put one word for one sentence.
For my book review he said to maybe say less why he was so good and put some errores if their was o that the readers get a full understanding.

Book Review
Book Review
The story begins with 13 year old Hannah not wanting to
attend the Seder. (Jewish feast). She doesn’t see the
reason to remember her family’s history nor she wants to spend time with
grandpa Will. But when the time
comes to open the door to the prophet Elijah, she is transported to the past;
Poland 1942, specifically to her family’s shtetl, in Viosk.
When she is in the past and gets closer to the Shul and sees the Nazi trucks, she knows the Holocaust is coming. The author doest a great job representing a
worrisome child that as she worries she is also maturing into a less selfish
person.
It’s a historical fiction story where author Jane Yolen does a fantastic job
describing how time changes from the present to the past making the scenery
virtually come alive.
Jewish children will enjoy this thrilling story, however,
the author’s research is so well done that non-jewish readers will learn about history
as well as of Jewish culture making sure that the average reader doesn’t get
confused with all the Yiddish words like for example: yarmulke, pilpul and, sherele. Malach ha-mavis. Also, the reader gets to learn
about some traditional entertainers like the badchan, and the klezmer.
In some places, the author misses some information like what
Gitl and Shmuel are to Chaya. Also
everyone calls Gitl, tante, so its more confusing to the reader.
The author also didn't explain how the concentration camp was so that kind of bad especially when she tries to escape with Gitl you don't know where they are or anything.
Reading the book is like eating a herring, a little oily at the beginning but
quite spicy as you go on.
I would rate this book with a 7/10. However, some topics are
intended for a minimum age of 12 years old.
What is in red is what I changed

what my portfolio says about me
I think my portfolio says that i like social studies, that i don't like to read in spanish but it is ok for english also they think that i like sports any kind and am very athletic
Changes to my weebly my friends suggested
Daniel my friend say'd that i should add more to socialstudies and to add my journals.
Felipe said I should add out of school activities.
I have done all of those on my weebly.
Felipe said I should add out of school activities.
I have done all of those on my weebly.
Our script
Have you ever wondered why children don't like to go to school? Why every single Monday the people are extremely bored. It is hard for some people to see it, they say its because the weekend ended but its actually because they've done the same thing for the past 9 or 10 years.
The idea is to change the schools in various little ways, 4 or 5 maybe. For example children can configure their schedules, you can make sure that you have no stressing classes in the morning and harder ones in the afternoon making your learning experience better. Also we could reduce the schedules by small amounts, say 5 or 10 minutes. The change would be appreciated. Even by parents because their child would have a better chance if gettung good grade and enjoying the school environment. The administrator would benefit because their school would become very prestigious about making almost every body in their school successful. Teacher would also benefit because kids would want to learn and could get more done in a day.
What we want to do is in an instance make the learning environments in schools more likable. Un-bore students if it could be referred to as that. Our plan is to have everyone see something new constantly, to make sure that learning is always encouraged. New people, new projects, new schedules, and even new classrooms. We want to make everything fun for people. It might have some costs, the constant changes might have confusions in the systems and papers, but a system can be created in which there is patterns and there is always a backup for all of the information. Plus, adults also can have fun with something new happening.
Studies show that when students are happy or not stressed there brain preforms better. We also want to discard the ADD because to treat ADD you sedate children and they feel sleepy unable to perform at their maximum level.
Haven't you thought of that? Just eliminating the boringness at school. We can make classes more personalized in order for kids to study what they want. And by mid- middle school or high school they can study specifically for their career if they want to, making the, be prepared for the career they want. That's what we want, we want to stimulate learning, make people like what they do and how they do it. We want to make everything better somehow.
Final draft MYTH
Once upon a time there was a boy named Peter Smith. He was a nice boy; good at sports and he was popular. When he gets to school everything gets bad; he sucks at school and Bob Murphy isn't any help. Bob Murphy is a nerd who loves to bother Peter because he is dum. Peter has tried really hard to be good at school but he just can't. He has a tutor and that's why he hasn't been failing any class but he just died of a heart attack. Poor Peter, what was he going to do? To make things worse, his parents are kind of cucu and he had to take care of them. His uncle pays his tuition in the best school possible, the CNG. Most people were normal at the school, got 3 as an average but there was always the kid who almost failed each year but managed to pass, that was Peter. Most people lived in big houses but Peter lived in a small home with all of his extended family. The reason his family didn't help out with his parents because they think they already do enough for them. Also they thought peter was crazy because when he got nervous he started playing with things in his pockets which were weird like old gum trash. Also at night he swore at the god to the mysterious god of ESOB he said he hated his creations.
He only gets cheer up when he see's his best friend Jimmy Delano; he never bothers Peter because he knows his situation and his DEEP DARK SECRET, so he is very careful about that by the way Peter deep dark secret is that if he gets bothered to much he wil turn into a monster. That day Bob Murphy is more of a jerk than usual and it finally gets to him; Peter becomes a monster!!! Zoom he ran by fast, he started to destroy all the homework in CNG but that wasn't all, next all of south America's homework was gone and after only 5 min. there was no more homework left in the whole world.
After Peter the monster destroys all of the homework he goes back to his school CNG and makes his den/home there and each day he destroys a little more of the school and eats one teacher a day but his first victim was Bob Murphy and made him suffer a minute as much as he had for 3 years. After 2 days after Peter had taken over the school, the CIA and the FBI arrive at the school. After planning what to do for hours, someone finally shoots at the monster but it melts as it touches Peter. What were they going to do? He can't be touched by metal or the metal melts. After many days of stalling a CIA agent that was desperate said I'm going home so he went up to peter the monster and said you sucks you know I know what school is like but I didn't go all psycho so just turn back into to pete... ahhhh help !!! The CIA agent was eaten. So the FBI called president calls an emergency meeting with all presidents and says we have a monster that is a potential threat to the world, then the a stupid president says why don't we just shoot him with bullets. All of the president sighs with that question. We told you it melts as we hit him. Then The president of the FBI says that maybe he can't melt plastic. Everyone laughed and someone yells out: "what are we going to do, make bullets of plastic? hahahahahahah. He replies "no we are going to hit him with the strongest of tranquilizer in the world". At dawn, the snipers are ready to shoot. The monster has woken up and as soon as he is about to eat another teacher, the first plastic tranquilizer hits him, but he only feels a little dizzy. After 20 shots he is dead or passed out. As soon as the CIA and FBI agents get 15 feet away from the monster he starts to rise and goes to the Heaven of Homework, where he will be punished for his actions of destroying HOMEWORK. Where the god of gods of homework ESOB will punish him for cursing at him

What does our changing the school project meet
Well our change is to make the classrooms/school a safe learning environment where you're not exhausted where you can feel free to talk, and to feel at home.
Our changes would meet the needs of the students because they wouldn't be so tired and could excel more in their learning so if you increase more learning in less time. Also there would be more teachers than now.
Our motivation will be that kids will be less stress out. They will feel safe asking questions and kids will want it because they will have more free time. The other thing is that the school won't be a bad thing it won't be like free time but it will have more facilities it will incorporate games into the themes you are working on but only once in a while

How would i change my myth
Well I would add a little more action because my publics children from 8 to 12 and when I was their age i loved for bombs to explode for them to almost catch the criminal but it gets away, but it always ends well for the good guy.

What would I use to visualize murphy school in a video
I would use example of real live schools I would use photos that who how it wou
D be
The sound track wiil
How it would look
Depends what rubric they choose has to be approved by teacher
More indepentednt
To make the changes to the school would cost more because. Of design and more teacher
My peers suggestion
My first peer: he said that it was well written but he would like to know a litle more about ESOP. Also he said that why did Peter destroy homeworks.
Second peer:Why is jimmy Delano his best friend and why is Peter bad ate school does he have a problem or is he just dum also. What did he do to bob so that he suffered 3years of pain in 1 minute.
Father: he said that it was good but it could improve first there are some grammar mistakes but that could be easily changed he also said that why didn't his uncle help more or why didn't all of his family take care of his parents if they were cucu He said that maybe the ending is too short and that it should be extended, like the god (Thor)comes to fight him but loses so he gets his hammer. Something like that

Reaserch and obsatcles
Some of the obstacle s in the way of changing the ways school works and the way it looks are the old fashioned parents who are very squared which means they think there is only on way to do things and it is the old way.
Research : As one of the ted talks said if you feel your in a safe learning environment you brain excels in everything. Also since schedules would decrease because more leraning cold be done in less time kids would feel less stressed and would have more time for homework and more time to relax.

My 3 Best works
My 3 best works in eighth grade have been:
- Social Studies semester exam, it was a long DBQ and my paragraphs were well written, long and straight forward.
- Sociales portafolio, this was a written essay about everything we have done in this year with examples.
- English math song, it was really hard to put all the explanatory lyrics on a fast beat song like, Move like Jagger, but overall you could really understand the meaning.
What Makes my work great? Great work is when you excel in something and really get the meaning, but also is that you can teach other the meaning in creative ways and if you feel you put everything you could into it.
What would it look like
How are you going to keep our students concentrate
How are you going to keep our students concentrate
My favorite sport is soccer why because it is the most physically demanding spot and mentally challenging sport you have to be strong but light fast but not to thin you have to withstand grueling tackles you, have to be alay maker you have to be a defender and a striker a the same time. A good example is ronaldinho he is one of mthe best players of the 21 century but even he doesn't compare to ...PELE the best player of all time

Felipe:nreally good but I would like you to express you opinion bit more and also less grammatical errors.
Daniel: it was ok I mean you had information but. Think you could have expanded the thinking level.
2.5 shakespeare
I think the most important thing or moment in his Shakespeare life was when he moved to london, because when he moved to London he started making play and sonnets he got rich. Also a very important mptraut was that he was friends was with Marlo's because maybe he got some crazy ideas from him. Since his dad was a merchant he then maybe could of know of Julius caesar.

Felipe had one a very good parragraphs the only thing I would change would be to explain why all the points to a more deeper understanding.
analyzing the mid summer night dream
I said that the most important part of the movie was when the fairy queen takes the spell of lysander and the fairy queen. Why? Because it was the resolution of the plot and all goes well for Lysander and Hermia, Demetrius and Helena, and the ass because even thought the fairy queen left him he know has a renewed confidence and does the play for the marriage of Helena and Demetrius and the marriage of Lysander and Hermia. It was supposed to be a tragedy but it came out extremely funny. Also i said and important part of the boom is when oberon tells puck to squeeze the love juice into Demetrius eyes.

Mid summer night dream
This play or movie was written by Shakespeare . The best moment of the play was when Lysander no longer likes hermia but like Helena because she uses a spell. Also a very funny part is when the ass makes the fairy queen fall in love with him. But for me the best and or the most important seen is when the fairy king comes and takes the spell of Lysander and also of his wife the fairy queen.

Who will buy it, how do you know?
People or families with lots of money will buy our hover-car. It’s very expensive considering the parts used to make it. (i.e. metals and magnets and various other materials.) We also have to put metal all along the roads if we mass product our product, or else the cars will not be able to fly. We can lessen the cost by making it in places such as China, but they will still be more expensive than ground cars.
Invention Description
Our project is a vehicle that you can steer and drive like a normal car, but it runs on a magnetic field. It levitates off of magnets on the bottom, back, and front of the car, and magnets on the floor as well. It cannot hover without magnets. It will also be pretty heavy compared to a normal car.
How Much Does the Car Cost?
The car costs about 125,000 dollars depending on what materials and kind of magnets are used to make it.
Space Magnetics, Retrieved From: http://www.spacemagnetics.com/home/hovercraft/faq_hovercraft.html (2004)
This article gave us the idea of having magnets on the car. There could be 2 different poles both inside the car, but a better way would be to have magnets on the bottom of the car and the floor. This article also tells us that the car functions off of a magnetic field.
This article tells us that we should put magnets on all the roads so it will allow the hover-car to fly as long as it’s on the road.
Bill Beaty, 2005 Retrieved From: http://amasci.com/maglev/train.html
This article gives us the information of how to allow the car to hover without having it slipping and sliding off the track. You have to have 2 long magnets on the board and on the track, because if it was just one long magnet the car could fall. The magnets on the road have the match the magnets on the car.
Dennis R. Jenkins, Tony Landis, Jay Miller, 2003, American X-Vehicles, Retrieved From: http://history.nasa.gov/monograph31.pdf
This told us that the weight of the car depends on what materials you use to make it, the density of those materials, and how much the car can elevate.
This short article gave us a price range of the car we would build. It costs about 125,000 dollars, which is pretty pricy.
My part of the rough draft proposal
THe object description and who is going to buy and the cost.
Object description:
The hover cars is an object or product that will be used as a normal car for travaeling. Unlike the car which stay on the ground the hover car as the name says it hover and can reach speeds of up about 500 kilometers per hour. Also it uses magnets to move around instead of gasoline making eco friendly also we won't have to make more roads because there is metal everywhere like river or pond etc. Who would buy? anybody really but especially people from extremely congested city like bogota or new york city.
How much does it cost. the good ones made out of fine metals and they have leather seats carbon fiber outside can cost a lot like 190,000 dollars over the years you will save a lot of money because of the rising price of gas.

Knowledge building notes
Throughout this project i have learned a bunch of new things like electromagnetic field can be created with a metal and putting electricity through it. Also we are going to create a special thing called v formation days in which you can only travel in a V formation and we can test the efficiency of the cars. what hot spots are a form flying which you use warmup drafts to glide along the way.

man vs nature: there is a show called man vs wild which i about how a man strugles in the wild
man vs man: in the book montmercy he fight the waiter because he doesn't want to get any food just sit down
man vs himself: montmercy fights himself because he thinks he si doing the right thing but
man vs god: the davinci code says that jesus acutaly had a son
man vs society: the uglies shay says that their is more to pretty than being just a barbie
crime does not pay: in montmorency says that doing the wrong no matter what you get.
friendship means scarifice: tally promise shay she won't tell and because of that she has to give al of their dreams
ying and yang: montmorency is bad and then he turns good to fix his own wrong
the importance of family: when montmorency fail and goes to jail he sees how mcuh importance famiy has
death is part of the life cycle: in achilies death is the thing that the inmortal envy
sacrifice gets rewards: if you do homework instead of T.V you will get a better grade that happen in fringe

Transitinal words people used in there project
lorenzo: lorenzo used very good transitinal words but i kept getting the feeling that he was avoid them because there were opurtunities to use them and he didn't use it. overall he used the words right but i would use more.
tomas: tomas did an excellent job he used them just as much as needed he put them right where they needed to be, one thing is that one time in sentecnce he did it worng and changed the whole meaning of the sentence or so i hope becaus eif not the sentence didn't make any sense
Arturo: he did a ok job he barley ised the words but he used perfect he had the chance to put them in but he didn't otherwise he would have had a job well done

Which theme is better.
My partner has man vs man and i had man vs society after long debating we said that my theme was better but why.
Man vs man: when shay fights with tally because she suspected that tally brought an end to the smoke by calling special circumstances. Also there is a little conflict between peris and tally because peris is a pretty (a bubble head) and tally is not so she crashes the party and meets up with peris. She got meanly stared at by peris and tally felt really reject by her friend. She thought that they were so good friends that it wouldn't matter how they looked but in the end it did.
There is also some unspoken tension between maddy (david mother) and tally, because maddy knew that tally had given the position of the smoke away and also because they were taken away Dr. cable kills his husband by experimenting on him.
Man vs society. when shay and tally start talking bout being pretty shay is the man and tally talks for society because shay says there is more to beuty than being a barbie doll but on the other hand tally says thats are there is too it. I personaly think that there is more to beuthy than what is on the outside but it cna't hurt if you are also pretty.
Shay is very radical but right she thinks that if you're that pretty you are either stupid or bot very nice, she is only right in the book because very body has a brain fissure.

The theme is Man vs Society
I think that the theme of the book is man vs society because even though there is some conflicts that are man vs man and man vs nature the book is about not only two girls or a small village defying society the author is trying to change how the world thinks what beautiful.
Society has shaped itself so that it hides mysterious facts and clues about what is going on. The government to me is the one organization who can have the biggest impact on society, and the government decides to do the bubblehead and turn every one pretty so society after a time thinks that is what is normal.

Clues about theme
When shay is talking about the smoke and she tell tally how no one is pretty so everybody is. I think the theme is man vs society and a little man to man.
When shay tells tally that the whole image that they're city puts is wrong that everybody is beautiful in there one way. Theme here is man vs society
When tally is looking for the smoke and she has to endure fight the wildernes. Man Vs Nature

Real learning IS:
when you know a topic really well, you could talk about it for hours.
A good teacher can explain things 100 as long as the student gets it, she doesn't lose her patient and knows the topic she is explaining no just copying a site therefore it is easier for her to give example etc.

1.Hovercars:
2.We have that somone has created a real hover board (uses the same technlogy as hovercars) it can not move without moving the magnets under them but it can still carry up to 5 pound. As the creator calls it a work in progress. Even though it needs magnets to stay flying it the magnets on the ground have to be very crefully put because when it uses that kind of magnetisim it will push the magnets where ever it cang o and it it move out of reach and the car will fall.
3. I have a theory that if you put like metals under the car right below it, it might be able to graduate how high, fast, low, slow every thing. Now we know that it wouldn’t work because it would just pull the hovercars down as the same force or even bigger because of gravitatinol pull.
4. MAGNETISIM, HOW FAST IT MIGHT BE ABLE TO GO, HOW HEAVY IT IS, HOW HIGH IT CAN GO.

This is a reliable site because it is nasa and it is a .gov. In this I learned that there is a perfect place to test how much aerodynamic are in our hover crafts. It is metal all around so there would no need to change the posistiong of the hovercraft.

This site is realible because it came from destiny. In this site I learned that we could ad fans or turbines in the bottom of the hover car so in case you ran out of the magnetic field you could still stay up.

This site is realible because it is a .gov and it is the NASA. I learned that if you get out pf the atmosphere with the hover car, since it uses magnetics it might get caught in the magnetic pull of a planet or worse sun.

This site taught me that the hover board is posible just that it needs magnets that are extremly strong to hold up. This hoverboard can hold up only 5 pounds but it ground breaking reaserch.

This site taled about that making th car wouldn't be so hard as long as it isn't very heavy.

2 new theories: If we put enough magnets we under the car it might to leave the atmosphere. If the magnets can hold up the mass of the hover car we can add turbines so that it could do a crash landing.
3 new questions: If the car can leave the atmosphere what magnets could it gab on to. How heavy is it.
What is it max speed in outerspace.
2 new Ideas to reascerch: How might we drive it. How far can it travel.

Problem writing
I have problems with commas, run on sentencs.
Transitional frases.
Conjunction ex although even though, while, whereas, despite.
Link 2 ideas in the same sentences.
Despite is a preposition .
Adverbal:however on the other hand what's more.
Links Ideas that link two different frases.
Can go at the end of the sentences but are separated usually are separated with comas

Inferences about starwars
You can tell that obi wan is going to fight darth vader because he is a Jedi knight and is one of last person that has the same power as darth. Also when they are fighting (obi wan and darth) and you know obi wan is going to die because he says that he is getting tools for this.

You can usually use in site citatation
If you're quoting someone directly you have to tell who wrote and the year it was written and the page you find it on if there is no page in the websites you put n.p
If it is not a direct citation you just put the name of the author and the year.

Capitalization and punctuation
You don't capitalize the names of the season
Puncuation
Use a period after each number in a list printed vertically.
Use single quotation marks for quotation marks within quotations.
If the ellipses comes at the end of your sentence, you still need end punctuation, even it is a period.

Notessss
Most important thing, central idea of an a piece also it is the meaning. It is not the same as subject a subject is a thing. It is an opinion about a thing. Generalization is part of theme because it us a model of the world through their eyes. So you can make generalization. That is an abstract. Easiest way to find theme is to see how the main character changes. Theme is bigger than just these character and this story. The meaning belong to you not the author.

sumarize of starwars paragraph
Star Wars in the Rocket City: Inside the science of Episode V with spaceships and light speed travel:
The paragraph is about how traveling is impossible without becoming mush and how we could never get to light speed. Only things that don´t have mass can reach that speed. also how big the imperial ship are. Something that theoretically might work is the hyperspace drive or warp.
Star Wars in the Rocket City: Inside the science of Episode IV with aerodynamics, holograms and binary suns
The Xwingers (jetfighter) don´t have any areodynamics. Also the wings won't on the xwinger won't work because they thrust against air and there is no air or water in space. Those turns at nearly the speed of light would squash the pilot. Also these fighters could only shoot if there targets were in front of them which is a great disadvantage, instead f just having a copilot next who could operate the guns other wise.

literary deveices i saw in my book (hunger games final book MOCKING JAY)
1.Symbolism, foreshadowing, flashback, atmosphere, plot twist, progressive time, digressive time, suspense.
1. The 13 districts is an allegory because is in the colonial times the american were divided in 13 colonies and were ruled by a FAR away dictator in england in the hunger game the districts were ruled by a dictator in a far away place. Last they both treated them (colonies and districts) exremely harsh.
Symbolisim the mocking jay pin. It is the sign of hope for the districts it is what they fight for but for the capitol it is a sign of fear destruction .
Symbolisim the tracker jackker (a mutant bee who was designed by the capitol in the dark days to destroy the districts) is a sign of the capitol because it shows there willingess to keep the districts under there control no matter what the risks are.
Foreshadowing is when she katniss is hiding and nothing is happeing and she starts to feel comftable you know something is going to happen like they attack her or something.
Flashback. When katniss is in the arena she starts to tell\remember when she bought prim the goat and how when she brought the goat home to prim how happy she was and how prim healed the goat back to perfect health, so everything looked alright at the time.
Atmosphere in the fight in district 8 every thing is sad because it is all broken and damged and people on the ground bleeding out. The wounded children are walking around looking for their parents who are probably dead.
Plot Twist when the medics including Prim go out and try to save the children and then they re bomb and kill everyone including Prim. Katniss sees that the bombing came from her own side and realizes that her enemy isn't the capitol but the president from her own side Coin.
Digressive time when Katniss is giving a speech in district 8 she wandered of the topic instead of talking about war she talks about how she likes Peeta.
Digressive time: when Katniss is eating in the train and she sees that there is so much food to eat and remembers the time when she lived in the district and had barely no food and now she has a lot.
Progressive time the whole story goes in chronological order.
Suspense: suspense in this book is very common you always have a sense of it even when you think nothing extraordinary is going to happen. One time where this happens is when Rue and Katniss made a plan to take out the careers and when you see the plan it looks flawless and it is almost perfectly executed until Katniss sees Rue in a tree smiling at her but then a spear goes through Rue. They had killed Rue even though there plan seemed flawless.
