I read The Hunger Games. Peeta Mellark is the main character with Katniss Everdeen. Peeta was this bakers son and always had something to eat (even if it was a small portion) unlike Katniss, were as she had to fight to get if even a handful of rice. Peeta was in love with katniss though they had never talked and when he got on the train to the capitol I think his plan was to try to save katniss because he couldn't live without seeing her. He changed throughout the book from the bakers son, to the guy who will fight to death until someone he loves is safe.
Some of the elements of plots that set the mood was the exposition because it showed how cruel the people of the capitol were, and how much the people in the districts suffered. The resolution was also very good because it had a lot of suspense and it got you to think that Katniss nor Peeta were going to survive.
When Katniss started thinking about Peeta something usually happened like when the manager of the hunger games said that if both of the last two standing children where from the same district the would be allowed to live, Katniss was thinking about where Peeta was.
I think in the end of this book they both hate who they become like this girl who has everything and doesn't need to fight for it. I think she liked being someone who had to fight to live. Peeta to because he loved Katniss so much that if Katniss isn't happy he isn't happy
